What would you with $1000? Yep, you read that right.

January 9, 2013

January and Feb are the toughest time for people who went a little crazy with Christmas shopping. This is when the credit card bills start coming in.

Thankfully, I was a bit smarter this year and had put the money away in advance, but I can think of a ton of things to do with a $1000. A trip to Mexico perhaps, or putting it towards my retirement saving.

Speaking of retirement, have you ever thought of what your annuity payments would be if you chose to go that route? I bet you hadn’t thought about it, had you.

Anyway, enter before for a chance to win $1000, and do with it whatever your heart desires.

I am proud to say that I am not one of those “crazy Christmas shoppers”. When the new year starts, we also start saving for our Christmas shopping. When our favorite mall goes on sale, I grab some generic gift items that I can give to friends, kids, and neighbors. Hence, we do not spend much on our Christmas shopping.

If I win $1000, I will use the money to pay off the balance left on our loan. I promised that we will settle it within the first quarter of the year. I hope I win!

I would put the money towards my student loans!

If I were to win $1000, I would use the money to pay off some of my husband’s existing loans. No one likes debt (especially me). It would enable us to get out of debt even faster!

I have not $1000 but have 900 US dollar and planning to invest in forex and commodity market. I want to maximize my saved money and due to this planned to invest it again. I hope, it will raise double before next Christmas.
