It has been more than 6 months since I started this blog and I felt that I needed to do something to celebrate. I took a break in there because work and personal life was getting too much, and after a while I found out how much I missed blogging. This blogs helps me keep my goals in check and makes me feel accountable for them. How does one back down from a plan when they broadcast it to the world. So as a thank you for all the lovely readers that I have, I thought I’d give away a little token of my appreciation.Also, I want to say thank you to the fantastic Yakezie community, they have helped grow this blog and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without their support.

I am having my first gift card giveaway!!!

I will announce the winners on Dec 20th. As you can tell this is very exciting for me. I know it is a bit ironic that I am giving away a gift card for online shopping, but Im choosing to think of it as a way to help you not spend your own money. For those who don’t want to buy anything from Amazon, or like me, dont have access to good stuff from Canada, you can opt for $50 Cash thru paypal.

Also, I recently signed up for Rafflecopter and have been itching to use it. Good Luck to everyone!

Rules

This is a contest for $50USD Paypal or Amazon Gift card
Open to everyone in North America. The only requirement is that you have a PayPal account in order to receive the prize, particularly if you live outside of United States
The contest will run from November 28-December 19, 2011. All entries must be in by Monday, December 19th, 2011 at 11:59:59 PM EST.
The winner will be chosen using Rafflecopter.

Congrats on reaching the 6-month mark. Most blogs don’t make it this long, so that’s something to be proud of. If I won the $50, I’d probably use it to spoil my daughter this Christmas. Not that she won’t be spoiled anyways…

What would I do if I won the $50? I totally know. I’d invest it in a new bright red had that said “I Love thirtysixmonths.com.” Is that sucking up enough that we can drop the Rafflecopter sham and just award it to me already?

No? Okay, then I’ll have to tell you the truth: I’d spend it on coffee from Dunkin Doughnuts when we head north for the holidays. We don’t have DD here, so I’d stock up on awesome coffee so that on those three or four snowy Texas days it’ll keep me warm and caffeinated and brave enough to wait the half-week for warmer weather.

If I had $50 to spend any way I wanted, I would use it as an extra payment towards paying off my student loan and credit card debt. Every little bit helps.

If I were to win the $50 I would put it toward getting my son Gregory the tablet he has been wanting. He is autistic and it would be a wonderful tool to help him keep centered when we are out at dr’s office and running errands..

I have a wish list a mile long on amazon! I would probably buy a book for myself and then maybe something on my husband’s wish list as well. Also, since I think I am getting a Kindle Fire, I might get a cover for it.
