Cheap Work Christmas Party Ideas

November 28, 2013

If you’re fed up with the traditional work Christmas dinner and drinks at the end of every year then why not try something different this time around? Depending on the amount of people and each individual’s preferences you may have to do a bit of negotiating to come up with something that everybody will enjoy, but it will be worth it in the end! Here are some great alternative options for this year’s Christmas work parties!

Comedy Clubs

Have a laugh in a comedy club this Christmas. It may be hosted in a variety of different venues such as a restaurant, bar or a nightclub. The acts that may appear range from stand-up comedians to magicians and impersonators, so the choices are endless and there’s bound to be something to suit everyone!

Everybody loves bingo don’t they? It’s a great way to have fun and maybe even earn some cash at the same time which, on the run up to Christmas, can be in short supply!

Blow off some steam this year with bowling! It’s a great way to socialise with your colleagues while having fun at the same time. You can choose to play individually or in teams to add a little competitive streak into your night.

If you’re looking for some mega entertainment for this year’s work party then why not attend a concert? Find something that everyone will enjoy and then rock the night away with great music. You’re guaranteed a night you’ll never forget and you’ll be dying to go to another concert as soon as possible!

Ice Skating

Slippery and exciting, ice skating is perfect for a Christmas work party because you’ll literally be skating around (or trying to) in a winter wonderland! You can hire skates pretty cheap too at any ice rink so don’t panic if you haven’t got your own ice-skates. Make sure you wrap up warm for this one though!

Paintball is perfect for a group looking for something energetic to do this Christmas. It’s pretty fun to! You shoot paint balls at the other team and nothings stopping you from getting back at your boss for all those late nights in the office (You can always blame it on your lousy aim afterwards).
